He’s built up a substantial client base, working with a wide range of clientele, including everyday people wanting to improve their health and transform their body, national level athletes, British champions, recreational and professional golfers. Craig has dedicated years to studying the latest research and he remains on the cutting-edge in the field of training, rehabilitation, nutrition and performance – holding certifications from some of the most prestigious academies around the world.
His personal experience as an athlete saw him compete as an elite level swimmer winning county titles, reaching national finals and representing the England south team as a teenager. He loved the training and conditioning required but by the time Craig was 20, he was burnt out and suffered with poor health for the following five years.
Overtraining and poor lifestyle habits were a major cause to these health problems and following this period, he learnt from some of the world’s leading holistic health and fitness specialists about how to regain optimal health and overcome his illness.
This experience has inspired Craig to open up one of the first Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Clinics in the county. This clinic is about working from the inside out and the ground up and identifying the root cause of people’s health issues. It’s his passion, focus, commitment and experience that allows him to get the most out of his clients

Specific information about NMT: The goal of NMT is to achieve structural homeostasis or balance within the body. NMT uses soft tissue manipulation techniques that balance the central nervous system with the musculoskeletal system. NMT is the perfect accompaniment to sports massage, sports therapy and exercise coaching as it helps clients experiencing structural dysfunction, faulty biomechanics and the accompanying pain. NMT is used to locate and release spasm and hyper-contraction in the tissues: eliminate trigger points; restore postural alignment, correct bio-mechanics and flexibility to the tissues; rebuild strength of injured tissues and assist venous and lymphatic flow. NMT can quickly release muscles with the minimum amount of work or intrusion.

My interest within the human body started at an early age when my family said I had ‘healing hands’ – possibly a way to get a foot rub now and again!, but looking back on it, they had a point. I did a few small holistic courses and then went down the more scientific path by completing a sports science diploma.
I began to realise I wanted to show others that sport and exercise could be done by all and help them realise how exercise can make the body and more importantly how it can make the mind fee, and I developed my career into personal training.
I have been a personal training for the past 3 years, but there was still part of me that wanted to look into the body in a more holistic way and go back to my original feelings for health “treat the body as naturally as possible – get from your body what you put into it”.
This is when my passion for yoga was found. Within Sivananda yoga I found I could draw from both the scientific and the holistic approach – challenging the body within postures, but more importantly becoming aware of the mind and how it can help daily to cope with what life throws in our path.

Dan OsmanMy passion for health and fitness evolved during my voluntary work experience at the Hertfordshire Sports Village (HSV) during the completion of my Sports Studies degree and ASCM HFI Fitness Instructor award. Here I worked as an assistant to Strength and Conditioning (S&C) coaches and had the opportunity to work with athletes at both amateur and professional levels.
Subsequent to this voluntary work and after obtaining a First Class BSc (Hons) Sports Studies I joined the Premiership Rugby Union Club – Saracens S&C team in preparing the senior squad for their 2008-2009 season.
It was after this I joined the University of Hertfordshire’s Performance Team. Here my responsibilities involved working with talented and elite level athletes, included within sports initiatives such as the national Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) and the Elite Athlete Support Programme (EASP). Additionally, key partners such as: England Women’s FA, Badminton and Netball England. My work at the HSV also exposed me to other clients from all warps of life from new mums wanting to lose some baby weight to a soon to be groom getting in shape for his wedding day. It was here I gained accreditation with the UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA) as a recognised practitioner.
I now continue to work within the East region of the country and England Netball’s London & South-East Academy delivering S&C services. Further commitments include the Southend East School Sports Partnership’s Gifted and Talented programme supporting exceptional youths of the Southend/Shoeburyness region.
